Solution
to licensing issues experienced by select users due to Windows service
corruption (WMI)
The Windows Management
instrumentation (WMI) is a service provided by Windows. A corruption in WMI
service would affect the execution of licenses in our tools. This can be confirmed by opening the
Computer Management -> Services and Application -> WMI Control ->
More Actions -> Properties which shows WMI invalid classes. |
Running the downloaded batch file as administrator would force WMI
services to restart. |
1.
Run
the command prompt as administrator. |
2.
Now
go to the location where you have copied the batch file in the command prompt
and execute the file as shown. |
3. Press OK to continue for any messages during the execution of the script. |
